SELF-COOLING SYSTEM

Once slopes exceed 2.8%, standard trolleys can’t guarantee safety. That’s when self-braking trolleys come into play. But there’s a catch: Most self-braking magnetic trolleys overheat, losing performance and shortening their lifespan.
The Problem
When a trolley descends, eddy currents form in its outer casing (usually made from non-ferromagnetic material). These currents create opposing magnetic fields—this is how magnetic braking works.
But this process generates heat. And with enough heat, the trolley’s braking power weakens, and the components degrade faster.
The Solution: Staying Cool Under Pressure
Our trolleys use dual lamellae cooling fins that are embedded into the trolley’s wheels, actively cooling both the magnets and casing during descents.
